This is the Widowed Support Group

(2006 trip to Lake George, open to non-members)

The group began over 20 years ago with a small group of recently bereaved widowed men and women who met to support each other.  After the initial periods of bereavement group meetings, members began to address problems of the changes in their state of life since the death of their spouses.  Suddenly a person finds themselves as single rather than in the society of couples to which they were accustomed.  Good leadership evolved and the group grew in number and strength in the parish.

When do they meet?  Monday, twice a month, with these exceptions: Jan - Feb: once a month, Only 1 meeting during summer months, at 7:30pm
